Margot hit the ground running in 1982 when she joined Quaker Oats as controller of the retail audit division as a graduate. She followed that working in the central marketing function at Rothmans and United Biscuits, completing a very enjoyable client-side experience in 1993 at Terry’s Group.

Margot has been a part of WDG since it evolved from Winstanley Douglas Grantham, encouraged by the professionalism and commitment of the team. She is also regional director for The Athena Network in Edinburgh running business support and networking groups for businesswomen.

She has three children who keep her busy and if that was not enough she has two very bouncy Labradors. Interests include reading, creative writing, and trying to keep fit. Suffice to say domestic chores have a very low priority.
