Neil
Neil joined Allied Breweries in 1981 where he spent three years before moving on to Quaker Oats. He joined Winstanley Douglas four years later, a research agency he’d previously used as a client, before becoming a partner in 1990.
Since then he has worked in a plethora of markets – from DNA and Forensics to Babyfood in Russia! Neil has always enjoyed the rigours and challenges of researching different brands across different countries. He still does today, continuing to take an active day to day role in research projects.
Neil gave up rugby after 25 years of glory and a lot of pain but still runs around a tennis court and occasionally a golf course. He also plays in a band with a crowd of marketing and research guys - called Tickbox. They are still waiting for that elusive Number 1 but until then he is happy playing at all his friends’ “big 0” birthdays and even some of their weddings. His 3 children keep him on his toes and out of pocket.
